Join Our Team as an Estimator or Assistant Estimator

As an Estimator or an Assistant Estimator, you will support our Project Managers, Planning Consultants, and the Cost Estimating team by providing critical cost estimation and analysis services. • Project estimation including quantity takeoffs, data entry, receiving quotes on products/services and cost analysis.
• Updating the company database by review of quotes received on products/services and contractor schedule of values.
• Communicating effectively with the Owner and A/E team, presenting budgets/estimates, and preparing budget cost comparisons.
• Developing bids and procurement of subcontractors for construction projects.
• Quantity takeoff using On-Screen Takeoff (OST) and Vertigraph Siteworx/OS.
• Prepare project cost summaries using Microsoft Excel and Bluebeam Revu.
• Cost load a project schedule using Primavera P6.
• Review of change orders or changes to projects.
• Basic knowledge of construction principles, techniques, and procedures.
• Skilled in the use of computer software including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to read construction project plans and specifications.
• Ability to effectively present information in oral, written and graphic form.
• Demonstrated skills in organizing and evaluating information.
• Strong math skills, close attention to details
• Experience in managing multiple activities and tasks
• 4-yr college degree preferred but not required. Preferred study concentration in construction management, architecture or engineering.
Work Environment: Ability to work in a variety of environments, including office settings and construction sites. Occasional travel to the project construction site is required.
