Construction Assistant Superintendent

Salary Range: $80,000 - $90,000 (Based on education & experience)
Summary
Engineering Design Technologies, Inc. seeks a dedicated Construction Assistant Superintendent to join our dynamic team. As a fully integrated Engineering and Design-Build firm, we specialize in sustainable architectural and engineering design, BIM coordination, and construction.
In this role, you will support the Superintendent in overseeing all on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
•Assist in managing construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with schedules, budgets, and specifications.
•Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, enforcing safety protocols and quality control measures.
•Maintain clear and consistent communication with project stakeholders, including owners, architects, engineers, and vendors.
•Oversee construction materials and equipment procurement, delivery, and inventory.
•Enforce job site safety regulations, ensuring full compliance with all applicable codes and best practices.
•Monitor project progress, identifying and addressing potential risks or delays to maintain project efficiency.
Qualifications:
•Minimum 5 years of experience as a Construction Assistant Superintendent in commercial construction or equivalent as a field engineer, foreman, or senior field supervisor
•Working field knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and industry best practices.
•Proven leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage teams and subcontractors.
•Strong ability to read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and specifications in multiple formats
•Thorough understanding of safety regulations and compliance requirements.
•Proficiency in construction management software and project tracking tools.
•Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
•Valid driver's license required.
Compensation
$80,000 - $90,000 (Based on education & experience)
