Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Concrete Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in various concrete construction tasks, ensuring high-quality work and adherence to safety standards. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to teamwork in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
•
Assist in the preparation and pouring of concrete for various projects, including sidewalks, driveways, foundations, and other structures.
•
Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
•
Help set up forms and frameworks for concrete pours.
•
Perform finishing work on concrete surfaces, including smoothing and texturing.
•
Clean and maintain tools and equipment used in concrete work.
•
Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
•
Collaborate with other laborers and supervisors to complete projects efficiently and on schedule.
Experience
•
Previous experience in concrete work or construction is preferred but not required; we are willing to train motivated individuals.
•
Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 pounds) and perform physically demanding tasks throughout the day.
•
Familiarity with basic construction tools and equipment is a plus.
•
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team setting.
•
A commitment to safety practices and procedures on the job site.
