Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Concrete Project Manager to lead our concrete projects from cradle to grave. This role requires strong leadership, a deep understanding of concrete construction processes, and the ability to effectively manage project timelines, budgets, and teams. You will play a critical role in maintaining client relationships, upholding quality standards, and ensuring projects are executed safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
•
Project Leadership: Plan, initiate, execute, monitor, and close concrete construction projects in Fort Collins and surrounding areas.
•
Budget & Cost Management: Develop project budgets, prepare cost estimates, and track expenditures to maintain profitability and control costs.
•
Scheduling & Coordination: Create and manage detailed project schedules; coordinate with superintendents, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely project milestones and completion.
•
Quality Control: Supervise all concrete construction activities, ensuring alignment with project specifications, industry standards, and company quality measures.
•
Safety Management: Champion a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations and Burnt Mountain Services LLC safety policies at all times.
•
Client & Stakeholder Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients; provide regular updates, address concerns, and cultivate positive long-term relationships.
•
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain thorough documentation of project progress, prepare status reports, and promptly manage any change orders or project-related issues.
•
Team Management: Lead and mentor on-site teams and subcontractors, fostering a positive, results-oriented work environment.
Qualifications & Requirements
•
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred. Equivalent experience in lieu of a degree will be considered.
•
Experience: 3-5 years of demonstrated experience overseeing concrete construction projects from inception to completion.
•
Technical Skills:
•
Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Primavera, or similar).
•
Strong knowledge of concrete methods, materials, testing, and industry best practices.
•
Certifications: OSHA 30-hour certification and any relevant state licenses are advantageous.
•
Leadership & Communication: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, communicate effectively with clients, and negotiate with vendors and subcontractors.
•
Location/Travel: Must be available to work on-site in Fort Collins and travel to project locations in the surrounding region as needed.
