Our work includes, landscaping repair, shrub and lawn replacement, paving repairs, concrete work including sidewalks, steps, patios and more. Job Duties & Responsibilities:
•
Understand the scope of work for each job location, including site preparation, material requirements, and finishing specifications.
•
Operate and transport necessary equipment, including dump trucks, skid steers, pavers, rollers, plate compactors, and other related machinery to job sites.
•
Prepare work sites by grading, compacting, and ensuring proper drainage for concrete and asphalt applications.
•
Pour, spread, level, and finish concrete sidewalks, curbs, and driveways according to project specifications.
•
Assist in asphalt paving operations, including raking, shoveling, compacting, and smoothing asphalt surfaces.
•
Follow daily work schedules on tablets or provided plans and complete assigned tasks efficiently.
•
Accurately measure and confirm job dimensions and square footage after work completion.
•
Document before-and-after photos of each project for quality assurance and reporting.
•
Adhere to and enforce safety protocols based on job site conditions, ensuring compliance with OSHA and company guidelines.
•
Assist in training and supervising crew members in proper installation and safety techniques.
•
Represent the company professionally when interacting with clients, inspectors, and the public.
•
Perform regular maintenance checks and minor repairs on tools and equipment to ensure they remain in proper working condition.
•
Work includes prolonged and repeated lifting (up to 50 lbs), standing, kneeling, bending, and working in various weather conditions.
•
Winter responsibilities may vary based on workload, including snow removal or shop maintenance.
•
Perform additional tasks and duties as requested by leadership.
Education, Skills & Experience needed:
•
High School diploma or equivalent
•
2 Years in the landscaping/ construction industry (required)
•
Prior experience in management position
•
Knowledge and skill in using technology, laptops, tablets, etc.
•
Commitment to doing quality work while putting safety first
•
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
•
Must have excellent communication skills
Requirements:
MUST HAVE (5) YEARS OF CONCRETE SIDEWALK or ASPHALT PAVING EXPERIENCE
•
Pass pre-employment, random, post-accident, and reasonable suspicion drug screens
•
Provide valid US work authorization documents
•
Satisfactory results of pre-employment background check results
•
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
•
CDL Class A Driver’s License (Preferred but not required)
•
Pre-employment physical and hold/obtain DOT medical card
•
Must be able to communicate fluently in English, both verbally and in written form
•
Motivated and self-disciplined
Typical Schedule:
M-F (Saturdays during busy months Spring/ Fall)
50 Hours Plus during busy season
6:30 AM – 5PM may vary depending on work load
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $32.00 per hour
