Job Description
Primary Purpose
Plan, coordinate, and complete operations, maintenance, and instrumentation tasks/projects related to gas compressors and related mechanical equipment at a gas compressor station or gas storage facility. Incumbent will work independently with minimal supervision, work other than normal work hours, respond to call-outs, and may be subject to shift assignments. Maintenance on other mechanical equipment such as block valves, control valves, air compressors, valve actuators. Maintain facility appearance and safety through good housekeeping practices inside and outside of the facilities.
Duties And Responsibilities•Performs preventative maintenance.
•Troubleshoots mechanical and instrumentation problems.
•Evaluates and optimizes mechanical efficiencies.
•Plans upcoming projects and tasks.
•Coordinates and communicates with vendors, contractors, encroachers, etc. to order materials or parts and scheduling work for repairs.
•Completes required paperwork: reports, requisitions, etc.
•Trains and leads other field OM employees, both on technical and company administrative and operation policies and procedures.
•Performs other duties as assigned (no more than 5% of duties).

Required Qualifications
•2-5 years' related experience
•Must possess a valid driver’s license.
•Ability to infrequently travel outside the job location area.
•Typical schedule Mondays - Fridays 7:00am - 3:30pm; subject to call-outs
•This position requires manual dexterity and visual acuity.
•Exert up to 100 pounds of physical force.
•Twist head and back for extended periods of time; work in areas classified as confined space; climb and work from ladders, catwalks, staging, and platforms; ascend and descend slopes and ditches; work with hands above head; and work lying on back.
•Achieve and maintain all OQ qualifications and progression requirements applicable to the job classification.
•Possess extensive knowledge of mechanical, electrical and instrumentation principals.
•Possess strong troubleshooting skills.
•Ability to read technical manuals, one-line diagrams, piping alignment sheets, etc.
•Ability to complete tasks and assignments in a safe and environmentally responsible manner including ensuring proper handling and disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous waste.
•Possess intermediate-level proficiency in MS Office specifically for the purposes of word processing, spreadsheet applications, and information retrieval.
•Ability to maintain detailed records to ensure compliance with all Company policies as well as all local, state, and federal regulations.
•Possess strong verbal and written English communication skills.
•Strong mechanical competence with basic troubleshooting and maintenance skills.
•Knowledge of compressor, pump stations, storage facilities, process plant, and pipeline system operations.

•Previous experience with maintenance scheduling databases
