Summary Of Position
The Compliance Analyst will support the Compliance Manager in ensuring the company’s compliance with applicable international, federal, state, and local regulations. This role serves as a cross-functional resource assisting with regulatory research, documentation, reporting, and implementation of compliance-related activities. The Compliance Analyst will also contribute to internal tracking systems, prepare submissions, and support compliance training and process improvement initiatives across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Apply for and maintain all operational and professional licenses (e.g., pesticide, contractor, engineering, and business).
- Assist in monitoring applicable international, federal, state, and local regulations (e.g., EPA, OSHA, DOT) and any updates to same.
- Assist with preparing, timely submitting, and/or maintaining compliance documentation and filings required by applicable international and domestic regulatory bodies. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Pesticide sales and usage reports in accordance with varying local regulations;
- Product registrations and
- Internal records in matters related to EPA FIFRA reporting, product export documentation, and data-call-in responses.
- Support investigations in response to regulatory inquiries, audits, violations, and citations.
- Assist with organizing and documenting compliance training sessions for field and corporate teams.
- Assist with monitoring publicly available competitor regulatory submissions and tracking new product registrations.
- Provide administrative support to Supply Chain function in matters related to product classifications, shipping documentation, and regulatory paperwork.
- Assist with tracking and documenting environmental sustainability data and reporting requirements as needed.
- Conduct miscellaneous legal and regulatory research as needed.
- Contribute to special projects and initiatives in support of the Legal and Compliance functions as needed.
- Occasional travel up to 10% as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) or equivalent work experience in regulatory, compliance, legal, environmental science, or a related field.
- 2+ years of relevant experience in a compliance, regulatory affairs, or legal support role.- Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret and summarize technical or legal information.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with document management or compliance tracking systems is a plus.
- Working knowledge of EPA, OSHA, or similar regulatory bodies preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Familiarity with hazardous material regulations or environmental reporting is a plus.
