This is a contract role through Magnit for Consumers Energy in Jackson, Michigan. This role is hybrid to Jackson, Michigan and requires reporting 3 days a week onsite.

Responsibilities:

- Facilitation of stakeholder impact analyses to identify targeted audiences;

- Coordination with subject matter expertise to understand the extent of changes and how changes will impact the intended audience;

- Recommendation of effective communication strategies and channels to effectively communicate with impacted audiences based on their needs;

- Development of communication material to support communication strategies with stakeholders – including but not limited to emails, intranet articles, infographics, PowerPoint presentations, training materials, frequently asked questions, leader talking points, 1-page overviews/summaries, etc.

- Development of visual illustrations to summarize complex business problems and the approach to implementing long-term sustainable solutions

- Coordinate and manage the execution of delivering communication materials to intended audiences in accordance with project timelines

- Evaluate the effectiveness of communication strategies and demonstrate agility by adjusting future communication approaches when needed

Requirements:

- Basic graphic design (PowerPoint, Canva)

- Understanding of change management strategies & techniques

- Ability to summarize and synthesize information in a way that is engaging, memberable and digestable

- Ability to work in a fast-paced setting and manage assignments with tight deadlines from multiple sources

- Ability to anticipate risks and barrier to effective communication and delivery dates

- Demonstrate agility by quickly adjusting as the needs of the business change

- Strong presentation skills

- Self-motivated and ability to work collaboratively and independently

- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills

- Strong planning and organizational skills

Education:

4 year degree in related field required

Hourly Pay Rate Range (dependent on location, experience, expectation)

The pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position is: $ 27-$33/hr
