This role requires 100% travel and will work on projects located in various states.

What you'll do:

- Lead root-cause troubleshooting for common PV system issues: ground faults, arc faults, insulation resistance failures, or communications outages.

- Review As-Built drawings in the field and issue redlines to support record drawing updates.

- Liaise with the Commissioning Manager, occasionally being directly involved in OEM discussions for warranty part replacements and RMA processes.

- Complete detailed Commissioning and QA reports, including test result summaries, punch list tracking, and turnover documentation.

- Maintain logs of all inspections, site photos, service reports, and commissioning results using Procore and SharePoint systems.

- Collaborate with the design and quality teams to improve commissioning plans and close recurring field loop issues through lessons learned.

- Ensure adherence to OSHA, NFPA 70E, and project-specific safety protocols while performing live system work or high-voltage diagnostics.

- Maintain up-to-date certifications in electrical safety, CPR/First Aid, and fall protection.

What you'll bring:

- Experience with commissioning software tools and cloud-based reporting platforms (e.g., Procore, SharePoint)

- Certified and licensed in OSHA 30 (Construction), NFPA 70E, CPRFirst Aid and NETA/IEEE familiarity

- Detail-oriented and highly organized, with a commitment to documentation excellence

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for interfacing with contractors, engineers, and clients

- Ability to work autonomously and take initiative under evolving site conditions

- Collaborative spirit with a proactive mindset for continuous improvement
