Job Description: Support Owner/Operator Team with planning and execution on a gas turbine dual fuel conversion project.
The Owner’s Rep Commissioning Manager (“ORCM”) is generally responsible for the oversight and management of engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning activities working under the general direction and control of the Project Owner (PO). The ORCM will additionally be responsible for the documentation of progress and the identification of any budget and/or schedule discrepancies that may affect the overall project’s budget and schedule. The ORCM will also be responsible to report to the PO on the status, progress, issues and concerns related to the project, and implement the directives of the PO.
• Submit such periodic progress and planning reports as may be required by the PO, as it pertains to the Project Engineering efforts; ensuring that all documentation, procurement specifications, procurement efforts and other resources necessary to the proper and timely performance of engineering tasks are identified with sufficient advance notice to PO to support the construction schedule.
• Submit such periodic progress and planning reports as may be required by the PO, as it pertains to the project’s Construction efforts; ensuring that all documentation, tools, equipment, craft support and other resources necessary to the proper and timely performance of construction tasks are identified with sufficient advance notice to PO to support the startup schedule.
• Responsible to coordinate and participate in engineering review and in the inspection of construction works as may be assigned by PO.
• Supervise and coordinate the engineering, construction planning, scheduling direction and coordination.
• Manages and coordinates various project contractors and subcontractors, including projects engineering and construction contractors.
• Manage the execution and timely implementation of start-up and commissioning activities
• Monitor and manage the project budget and closely coordinate all changes, variations and other budget impacts with the PO.
