Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and reliable TPO and Modified Bitumen Roofer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in installing, repairing, and maintaining TPO (Thermoplastic Polyolefin) and modified bitumen roofing systems for both commercial and residential buildings.
Responsibilities:
•
Install, repair, and maintain TPO and modified bitumen roofing systems.
•
Measure and cut roofing materials to fit around vents, chimneys, and other structures.
•
Use appropriate tools and equipment including hot asphalt, torches, and membrane welders.
•
Ensure all installations and repairs are completed to code and manufacturer specifications.
•
Inspect roofs for damage and determine the best repair methods.
•
Work safely and comply with all OSHA and company safety regulations.
•
Communicate with project managers, supervisors, and clients as needed.
Qualifications:
•
Proven experience (2+ years preferred) in TPO and modified bitumen roofing.
•
CERTA Certification (Torch down Certified )
•
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
•
Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions.
•
Knowledge of roofing tools, equipment, and safety procedures.
•
Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
•
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
•
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor for extended periods.
Preferred:
•
OSHA 10 or 30 certification.
•
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
•
Experience with other roofing systems (EPDM, PVC, shingles, etc.)
