About This Job

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber and apprentice to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of plumbing systems and be able to perform a variety of tasks related to installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing fixtures and systems in both residential and commercial settings. This role requires hands-on experience with plumbing tools and equipment, as well as the ability to read blueprints and follow safety protocols.

Responsibilities

•

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.

•

Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout of plumbing systems.

•

Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various plumbing tasks.

•

Perform pipe threading and ensure proper connections for water supply and drainage systems.

•

Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or areas for improvement.

•

Collaborate with construction teams on new builds or renovations to ensure plumbing meets specifications.

•

Handle heavy lifting when installing or removing large fixtures or equipment.

•

Provide maintenance person services as needed for minor repairs beyond standard plumbing tasks.

Skills

•

Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to plumbing work.

•

Strong ability in construction plumbing techniques and practices.

•

Knowledgeable in blueprint reading for accurate installation and repairs.

•

Capable of performing heavy lifting as required by the job duties.

•

Experience with pipe threading techniques is preferred.

•

Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all tasks performed.

•

Ability to work independently or as part of a team while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
