PTW is hiring a Commercial Manager to join our team in the Lower Mainland, BC!

- Lead, mentor, and support your team to deliver exceptional results.
- Oversee all commercial project functions, including sales, scheduling, employee performance, efficiency, cost control, preventative maintenance, revenue opportunities, and inventory management.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve processes, branch performance, and profitability.
- Monitor branch performance against established goals and take corrective action when needed.
- Conduct a minimum of two site visits per month to demonstrate visible safety leadership and engage with field teams.
- Maintain appropriate staffing levels by overseeing recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and terminations when required.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
- Foster a positive branch culture through clear communication, accountability, and ethical leadership.
- Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality service that meets or exceeds customer expectations.
- Contribute to budget preparation and monitor financial performance to achieve or exceed targets.
- Analyze and report on key performance indicators, financial trends, and market conditions.
- Develop strategies to enhance branch financial performance and operational efficiency.
- Identify and resolve employee and customer concerns with professionalism and diplomacy.
- Review monthly financial statements to ensure expense control and proactively plan for upcoming service and sales goals.
- Comply with PTW’s Health & Safety Manual, Code of Business Conduct, and all applicable Occupational Health & Safety Regulations.
- Perform other duties as required.
- Minimum 5 years in a management or senior supervisory role.
- Qualified Journeyman Electrician or Electrical Engineer.
- Post-secondary education in business or management is considered an asset.
- Must be local to or willing to relocate to the Lower Mainland, BC area.
- Proven leadership ability with a strong understanding of operations and business processes.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to overcome challenges and drive results.
- Strong understanding of company policies, procedures, and operational best practices.
- Committed to delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining high satisfaction levels.
- Demonstrated integrity, confidentiality, and accountability.
- Excellent analytical, planning, and prioritization skills.
- Skilled in negotiation, conflict resolution, and people management.
- Proficient with MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).
