POSITION SUMMARY
The applicant for the Electrical Foreman position should have experience in installation and completion of projects of electrical systems in the commercial electrical industry. Experience working in the field coordinating multiple tasks and functions, while providing supervision of assigned personnel is expected practice. Required experience with trade inspections, dealing with various jurisdictions and inspectors in all areas. At least 5-8 years of commercial electrical experience, with 3-4 years lead experience. Pay will be based on experience. We are not currently looking for electrical helpers. This position is for an Electrical Lead only.
Associated trade certifications are beneficial but are not required for this position.

Essential Functions
•This position will be a field deployable resource and will be assigned to working job sites for the purpose of coordinating and overseeing activities of the crew members under the supervision of this position.
•Layout, install, repair or replace electrical wiring, equipment, components and fixtures using hand and power tools; based on job specifications, electrical drawings and local codes
•Inspect and troubleshoot electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety rules
•Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem
•Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures to ensure compatibility and safety of the system
•Use a variety of tools and equipment such as power construction equipment, measuring devices, power tools, and testing equipment including circuit tracers, volt meters, megger, proximity testers, and ohmmeters
•Install panel boards, transformers, motor control centers, and motors
•Layout and work from ladders, aerial lifts, scaffolds, and roofs to install, maintain or repair electrical wiring, equipment, outlet/junction boxes, fixtures and fixture whips
•Place conduit, pipes, or tubing, inside designated partitions, walls, or other concealed areas, and pull insulated wires or cables through the conduit to complete circuits between boxes
•Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components
•Maintain trade-specific tools are required as shown in employers tool list
•Perform physically demanding tasks, such as digging trenches to lay conduit and moving and lifting heavy objects
•Direct and instruct apprentices and helpers to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures
•Utilize time management skills in order to manage one’s own time and the time of others
•Assist with administration duties such as preparing Jobsite Safety Analysis, Jobsite Hazard Analysis and preparation of safety reports
Working Conditions
•Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required (Hard hat, vest, protective eyeware, safety boots.)
•Work is performed indoors and outdoors, often exposed to the natural elements of cold, heat, moisture, and wind.
•Must be physically able to repetitively lift and carry at least 50 LBS on a regular basis.
•Must comply with the company’s drug and alcohol testing requirements and background screening process
