Accurate Site Development is looking for an Electrical Foreman/Supervisor for commercial and industrial job sites.

This individual will be responsible for overseeing their team and installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment in commercial and industrial buildings. The Foreman's primary function is to ensure that electrical systems function efficiently and safely, while adhering to relevant electrical codes and regulations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
•Plan and install electrical wiring, circuits, outlets, and fixtures in new construction or existing buildings.
•Read and interpret electrical blueprints, diagrams, and technical specifications to determine the layout of electrical systems.
•Install electrical panels, circuit breakers, and distribution equipment to regulate and control the flow of electricity.
•Connect wiring to power sources, such as utility lines or generators.
•Inspect electrical systems, components, and equipment to identify issues, faults, or malfunctions.
•Troubleshoot electrical problems and determine the appropriate course of action to repair them.
•Replace or repair faulty wiring, switches, outlets, and other components.
•Regularly maintain and service electrical systems to prevent potential hazards and ensure optimal performance.
•Adhere to local, national, and industry-specific electrical codes and regulations to ensure the safety of installations and repairs.
•Use safety equipment and follow safety protocols to minimize the risk of electrical accidents.
•Test electrical systems to ensure proper functioning and compliance with safety standards.
•Communicate with clients, supervisors, and team members to understand project requirements and provide updates on progress.
•Maintain detailed records of work performed, including diagrams, schematics, and maintenance logs.
•Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in electrical technology, codes, and regulations through ongoing training and professional development.

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
•High school diploma or GED
•Valid Electrical license or certification, or equivalent work experience.
•Strong understanding of electrical systems, codes, and regulations.
•Proficiency in using electrical tools and equipment.
•Problem-solving skills to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues.
•Physical stamina to handle manual labor and work in various environments.
•Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
•Attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
•Time management skills to handle multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly.
•Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
•Ability to work outdoors in environmental extremes of heat and cold
•Required to stand, walk, and sit; talk and hear, both in person and by telephone
•Ability to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift up to 25 pounds.
•Ability to work in physically demanding environments, such as outdoor construction sites and environmental extremes of heat and cold dependent upon job location
•Hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity to handle small components, wiring, and intricate tasks.
•Able to distinguish different colors is crucial for identifying wires and cables correctly
•Ability to adhere to strict safety guidelines and protocols to prevent electric shocks, burns, and other injuries.
•Required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, safety glasses at all times, fire-resistant clothing, when necessary.
•Ability to climb ladders, scaffolding, or elevated platforms and knell/crawl in awkward positions
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
