Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Commercial Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various driving environments, including but not limited to: winch tractors, oversized loads, water truck, hot shot, etc.

HAZMAT license is a great benefit.

Must be flexible.

Must be willing to work overtime/weekends/possible holidays.

Responsibilities

- Operate commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and flatbeds.

- Safely drive assigned routes to deliver freight to designated locations.

- Load and unload cargo as required, ensuring proper handling and securing of materials.

- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance.

- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours driven and vehicle maintenance.

- Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding any issues or delays encountered during routes.

- Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding commercial driving.

Requirements

- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the vehicle type.

- Proven experience in truck driving or delivery driver roles.

- Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is preferred.

- Experience operating refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or other specialized equipment is a plus.

- Ability to operate forklifts and other loading/unloading equipment is advantageous.

- Strong understanding of route driving and freight handling procedures.

- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to safety on the road.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 50 – 75 per week
