About This Job

Commercial Door Installer

We are looking for a qualified Carpenter/Welder/Installer to cut, fabricate and install wooden and metal Doors & Windows. Your job will entail working in diverse settings to produce steady and functional infrastructure and products. The ideal candidate will have good knowledge of wood properties and other carpentry materials. Following all health and safety standards is essential. The goal is to contribute to the construction and maintenance of strong and long-lasting door and windows.

Responsibilities

•

INSTALLATION of commercial and some residential doors windows, hardware, trim, etc.

•

Take measurements and calculate the size and amount of material needed

•

Possibly Cut, shape and smooth lumber and other material (e.g. fiberglass) according to measurements, if needed

•

Build window frames, doors and door frames by using raw materials or pre-constructed items

•

Inspect places and conduct repairs or maintenance for service calls

Skills

•

Proven experience as installer/carpenter, higher pay if specially have worked on doors and window

•

Hands-on experience in working with carpentry materials

•

Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction

•

Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws, hammers, rulers etc.)

•

Willingness to follow safety guidelines at all times

•

Good understanding of basic math

•

Good physical condition and endurance

•

High school diploma; Successful completion of a carpentry apprenticeship program is pay increase

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $26.00 per hour
