The Project Engineer works to assist the Project Manager or Project Executive on a project. They report to the Project Executive or Project Manager is responsible for all on-site project administration. The job duties and qualifications include:
•Assists in bidding and scope of work determinations.
•Materials Management - This includes submittals, shop drawings, and expediting material deliveries.
•Discover and resolve conflicts between the Company and subcontractors, as well as among subcontractors.
•Process and estimate all Change Orders and Requests for Information.
•Assist in developing and updating and maintaining the schedule.
•Run weekly Owner/Architect/Contractor meetings and maintain meeting minutes.
•Safety - Participate in the jobsite safety meetings, weekly safety audits, etc.
•Quality - Facilitate and/or participate in Preparatory Meetings, Initial Inspections, Follow-up Inspections, etc.
•LEAN – help facilitate LEAN principals on the project.
•A 4-year degree in Civil, Structural, Architecture or Construction Management or the equivalent in field experience.
•Strong communication skills.
•Computer software - Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel based templates, Procore, Bluebeam.
