Job Description:

We seek a detail-oriented Construction Estimator to join our team, delivering accurate cost estimates for commercial construction projects. This role supports our mission of providing high-quality, on-budget solutions through collaboration and precision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor services by analyzing project plans and specifications.

• Perform quantity takeoffs using estimating software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, or PlanSwift).

• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and vendors to develop competitive bids.

• Identify cost-saving opportunities and assess project risks.

• Create professional bid proposals for clients.

• Stay updated on material costs, labor rates, and local market trends.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field (preferred, or equivalent experience).

• 3+ years of experience as a construction estimator, ideally in commercial projects.

• Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, PlanSwift) as well as Microsoft Office.

• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret blueprints and specifications.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Knowledge of local building codes and Southeast Texas market pricing.
