Universal Compressed Air is a privately-owned and thriving high-technology business in Pennsylvania’s Lehigh Valley focused on compressed air systems for industry. UCA brings decades of Industrial Gas expertise to Compressed Air Supply Systems (CAS). Our PIPELINE AIRTM CAS are designed, engineered, built, operated, and maintained to deliver compressed air as a utility and, in every case, an efficient, reliable, and application-tailored solution to maximize savings and optimize the end user’s success.
This position is to be responsible for the Operations Control Center located Center Valley PA. This command center will be equipped with technology to access the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition systems at each of UCA’s operation plants with specific duties described below. This position will also monitor the security cameras at each of the sites on a daily basis. This position will also act as the maintenance scheduler, using the Computerized Maintenance Management System to perform scheduling and reporting functions.
The specialist will have visual access to the SCADA systems of all sites and will:
· Monitor the plants for all alarms and ensure that they have been responded to.
· Use the SCADA Historian to look for trends that could compromise operating within contractual parameters or could result in an unplanned outage.
· Using the SCADA Historian to generate reports to show our compliance with UCA customer requirements. Also, the specialist will also respond to Managements requests for Ad Hoc reports from the historian.
· Review recordings and real time video of all the cameras to look for unauthorized access to the UCA facilities, safety violations, verification of contractor invoices, etc.
· Generate reports as requested by the Maintenance Manager
· Become an SME for the CMMS system.
· Schedule reactive and Proactive maintenance for the sites at the Maintenance Manager’s discretion. Also, generate Purchase requisitions to support PM activities.
· Input new Assets and maintenance instructions into the CMMS.
Computer Skills to consist of proficiency with MS Office, Business Software, and Database Management.
This position may require flexibility in normal working hours, but it is expected to follow the typical working hours for the UCA corporate office.
