SUMMARY
The Tube Mill Combi Lift Operator operates the Combi-lift to safely transport, stage, and load materials throughout the production facility to support ongoing manufacturing and shipping activities. This position is located on-site in North Jackson, and working hours are Monday through Friday, from 4:30 PM to 2:30 AM and Saturday through Sunday from 2:30 PM to 10:30 PM (Saturday) and 2:30 PM to 10:30 PM (Sunday) local time. Overtime and weekend working hours may be required as needed. This position is expected to travel up to 5%.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION & RESPONSIBILITIES
•Perform all safety checks on the Combi-lift daily prior to operation. Report any mechanical issues to maintenance personnel.
•Operate the Combi-lift after inspection .to load, unload, and transport materials within the facility.
•Production material handling – Most of your time will be spent in this position. Keep production moving forward by assisting in staging to appropriate storage area, moving material into and out of primer locations. Must be comfortable moving heavy loads over very expensive equipment.
•Ensure all materials are in the proper location for production and shipping requirements. Stage materials for delivery in an organized and methodical manner so that loading of assemblies onto Semi trailers is expedited. Load materials on Semi trailers or assist with loading as required.
Operate combi-lift to load, unload, and transport materials within the facility, following safety protocols and adhering to established procedures.
•Handle various types of materials, such as raw materials, finished products, and equipment, ensuring careful and proper handling.
•Always adhere to safety guidelines and regulations, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe combi-lift operation.
•Perform routine maintenance checks on combi-lift, such as inspections, recharging, and basic maintenance tasks. Report any mechanical issues to maintenance personnel.
•Bin transfers in Syspro.
•Look up locations in Syspro.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
•Experience of at 3 years’ operating a combi-lift in an industrial manufacturing setting.
•Demonstrates a commitment to performing work in a safe manner.
•Attention to detail and can follow directions.
•Can work well independently, as well as part of a team.
•Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.

•Vision: Close and distance vision are crucial, along with depth perception and the ability to distinguish colors, for navigating and operating the equipment safetly.
•Sitting/Standing/Walking: The role requires the ability to sit, stand, and walk for periods of time during the shift.
•Flexibility: Bending, stooping, twisting, and crouching may be required for tasks like inspecting equipment, or navigating tight spaces.
•Reaching: Using arms to reach for controls and materials is a regular part of the job.
