Coating Operator - 3rd Shift

A Snapshot of Your Day

The primary purpose of this position is to operate a variety of equipment in the Coating Department with supervision. Complete coating process of product according to manufacturing and customer requirements.

How You’ll Make an Impact

- Use of documentation (quality documentation / records (Travelers and Forms)) / etc. Run thermal spray booth with guidance and carry out daily preventative maintenance

- Perform burnout, masking, heat tint, Surface Finish, shot peen.

- Perform in-process measurements (Use of Dual scope and profilometer).

- Operate stand-up blast cabinets and perform daily PM.

- Operate machinery for blasting tasks and carry out daily preventive maintenance.

- Run automated Peen devices and conduct daily preventative maintenance

What You Bring

- High School Diploma or equivalent experience

- It is expected to take 6 months maximum to become proficient in all the job responsibilities.

- Machine Operator experience is preferred but not required

- Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
