We are hiring a Coal Mine Permit Technician to support the bond release process for reclaimed mine lands. The ideal candidate will have experience with coal mine permitting and a working knowledge of SMA/SMCRA standards.
Responsibilities:
•
Prepare and submit bond increment applications
•
Coordinate with regulatory agencies to obtain bond release
•
Track permit timelines and documentation
•
Support compliance with SMCRA regulations
Qualifications:
•
2+ years of experience in coal mine permitting or related environmental/regulatory work
•
Familiarity with Surface Mining Control and Reclamation Act (SMCRA) and permitting standards
•
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Compensation & Benefits:

$75,000 annual salary plus performance bonus
