The normal work schedule is a rotation of 4 weeks: 2 weeks of work (77 hours per week, 7 days a week), followed by 2 weeks off.

Your responsibilities
Reporting to the Superintendent of Operations, the Operations Technician oversees, and monitors performance indicators related to operations, analyzing operational process failures, and supporting the team to improve performance. His main responsibilities are:
•Create procedures to improve operating methods, as well as define and deploy the tools and equipment needed to complete these tasks.
•Manage the process plant's lockout database and approve lockout cards. Prepare the cards in advance of the shutdowns;
•Assist the concentrator team with operational projects and carry out improvement mandates on your own.
•Analyze failures that have caused production losses (RCA); Support the deployment of corrective actions and ensure follow-ups.
•Help in the event of operational issues.
•Follow all applicable health, safety, and environmental rules and guidelines.
•performs all other duties related to the position.
Profile
•DEC in mineral technology, chemical engineering, industrial processes, metallurgy, or relevant experience
•Minimum 2 years' experience in the mining industry - an asset
Nice to have
•Good knowledge of MS Office software.
•Bilingualism (French and functional English).
