Job Summary
inExhaust is an industrial silencer & exhaust systems manufacturer located in Lincoln, Nebraska. We are looking for motivated individuals who will positively impact our company and share the excitement of our successes as we continue to grow. The CNC Supervisor will supervise the daily operations of the CNC department to ensure quality and efficiency.
Duties and Responsibilities
•
Schedules and delegates tasks within the CNC department, providing guidance and feedback.
•
Operates and supervises the use of CNC machinery.
•
Assists in the programming of CNC machinery using Python to generate a code based on designs.
•
Studies work orders and engineering plans to determine material and equipment needed.
•
Verifies correct settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample work pieces.
•
Ensures the quality and efficiency of CNC output by observing, taking measurements, detecting malfunctions, and troubleshooting processes.
•
Documents actions by completing production and quality logs.
•
Trains and develops CNC team members.
•
Sees that all team members comply with company policies and procedures.
•
Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
•
Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
•
High school diploma or equivalent
•
2+ years of experience working with CNC machinery
•
1+ years working with Python to program CNC machinery
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other Characteristics
•
Ability to multi-task and prioritize
•
Detail oriented
•
Goal/task oriented with minimal supervision
•
Team player with excellent communication skills
•
Ability to meet planned and unscheduled deadlines
