Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of CNC machinery, including brands such as Hanwha, Miyano, Takamaz, Brother, and Doosan, as well as supporting facility systems. You will play a crucial part in ensuring equipment uptime by developing maintenance schedules, documenting all activities, managing spare parts, and conducting essential performance qualifications (IQ/OQ). Your work will directly contribute to maintaining the highest standards of facility operations and equipment performance.
Key Responsibilities
•CNC & Facility Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the efficient operation of all CNC and facility equipment by performing regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to maximize uptime.
•Installation & Documentation: Oversee the installation of new machinery, including conducting and documenting IQ/OQ (Installation Qualification/Operational Qualification) procedures.
•Vendor Coordination: Collaborate with equipment vendors and partners to ensure timely repairs and optimal functioning of machinery.
•Maintenance Scheduling: Develop, implement, and document preventive maintenance schedules for all equipment to ensure long-term reliability.
•Inventory Management: Maintain a comprehensive inventory of spare parts and fluids, ensuring availability to prevent downtime.
•Equipment Inspections & Audits: Regularly inspect and audit equipment to assess its condition and evaluate the effectiveness of maintenance schedules.
•CNC Controls Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues with CNC controls, including Fanuc and Brother systems.
•Component Replacement & Alignment: Replace critical machine components such as linear guides, ballscrews, and bearings. Perform alignment of equipment, including slide, turret, and barfeed alignments.
•Equipment Cleaning: Perform routine cleaning and upkeep of machinery and equipment to maintain peak performance.
•Team Training: Provide training and mentorship to colleagues, improving team capabilities and ensuring proper maintenance practices.
Qualifications
•CNC Experience: Extensive experience servicing and maintaining CNC Lathes (Hanwha, Miyano, Fanuc).
•Hydraulic & Pneumatic Systems: Strong background in servicing hydraulic and pneumatic systems to ensure smooth machine operation.
•Electrical Expertise: Proficiency with high and low voltage electronics and electrical troubleshooting.
•Safety Protocols: Deep understanding of safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), arc flash safety, and pressurized system safety.
•Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with a self-starting attitude and the ability to work independently.
•Measurement Tools Proficiency: Proficient in using hand measurement tools and gauges (micrometers, calipers, indicators, etc.).
•Blueprint & Schematic Reading: Expertise in reading and interpreting blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics for machine maintenance and repairs.
•Computer Skills: Comfortable with PCs and office software (Excel, Word) for documentation and scheduling.
•Communication: Excellent communication skills, with a collaborative approach to working within a team.
