CNC Saw Operator

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Saw Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and experience with various cutting and machining processes. As a Saw Operator, you will be responsible for operating saws and other machinery to cut materials to specified dimensions while ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

Responsibilities

- Operate saws and related equipment to cut materials according to specifications.

- Perform quality inspections of finished products using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.

- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine cutting requirements.

- Maintain equipment by performing regular maintenance checks and troubleshooting issues as they arise.

- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to production schedules.

- Utilize hand tools and fabrication techniques to assist in the assembly of components.

- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment at all times.

Requirements

- Proven experience in manufacturing or machining environments.

- Familiarity with CNC machinery, including CNC laser cutting, CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and press brake machines.

- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.

- Proficiency in basic math skills for measurements and calculations.

- Ability to read blueprints and technical documentation accurately.

- Experience using precision measuring instruments for quality inspection purposes.

- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour
