CNC Programmer Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled & experienced CNC Programmer to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for programming CNC machines, ensuring precision and efficiency in the production process. This role requires a strong understanding of CNC operations, blueprint reading, and the ability to work with various tools and machinery.
The CNC Programmer will play a crucial role in enhancing production capabilities and maintaining high-quality standards.
Responsibilities
•Develop and optimize CNC programs for lathe and milling operations using Fanuc, G-Code, GibbsCam & Mazak Mill Controls
•Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to create accurate machining instructions.
•Set up and operate CNC machines, ensuring proper tooling and fixtures are in place.
•Conduct routine maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance.
•Utilize hand tools, calipers, and other measuring instruments to verify dimensions and tolerances.
•Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot issues and implement improvements.
•Maintain accurate records of production data, including machine performance and quality metrics.
Experience
•Proven experience as a CNC Programmer or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
•Proficiency in programming CNC machines.
•Strong skills in blueprint reading and understanding technical specifications.
•Familiarity with lathe operations and basic math skills for calculations related to machining processes.
•Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
