CNC Machinist – Turning First Shift

BACKGROUND

Prosper-Tech is a family owned (~25 people) CNC machining service provider for the medical device, aerospace, and defense industries. We are looking to add to our operations team to keep up with strong customer demand in 2025.

JOB TYPE & BENEFITS

Full-time Position with base 40-45 hours /week with overtime at 1.5x as business requires

First shift (6:30-3) $22-$27+/hr based on experience.

· High school diploma or equivalent

· Technical Certificate

· 3 (+) years’ experience programming, setting up, and operating CNC Lathes (longhand gcode and/or CAM programming)

· Blueprint reading including strong GD&T understanding and how to use for manufacturing process design

· Ability to program CNC lathes (FANUC control) with y axis and sub spindle

· Use of hand measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, indicators, etc)

· Strong written technical communication skills and able to communicate professionally internally

· Strong digital and physical organization skills

· Willingness to operate in a continuous improvement focused environment

· Ability to work closely with operations manager, quality manager, and on-shift team leader

· Able to manage multiple priorities

· Communicate professionally

· Willingness to be exposed to moderate levels of dust, dirt, oil, grease, fumes, odors, noise and solvent

Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
