Position Overview:

As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC machines to produce small precision metal parts in a high-volume production environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with CNC machining, a focus on detail, and the ability to work with tight tolerances and complex parts.

Key Responsibilities:

•

Set up, operate, and maintain CNC machines to produce small, precision metal components according to specifications.

•

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documents to ensure product quality and accuracy.

•

Perform quality checks and measurements to maintain tight tolerances and ensure compliance with product specifications.

•

Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency.

•

Collaborate with the production team to optimize machine operations and improve manufacturing processes.

•

Conduct routine machine maintenance and ensure the work area remains clean and safe.

•

Adhere to company safety protocols and maintain a strong focus on safety in all operations.

Qualifications:

•

3+ years of hands-on experience operating CNC machines in a high-volume metal manufacturing environment, with a focus on small part production.

•

Strong understanding of machining processes, materials (primarily metals), and tooling used for precision parts.

•

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CNC programs.

•

Skilled in using measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure accuracy and quality.

•

Experience working with tight tolerances and complex part geometries.

•

Problem-solving mindset with the ability to troubleshoot machining issues and suggest improvements.

•

Familiarity with CNC programming and G-code is a plus.

•

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced production environment.

•

High attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality parts.
