CNC Machinist - Day Shift

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the programming setup and operation of CNC machines. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for coming up with a processing plan, setting up simple to complex operations, and programming 2D and 3D operations. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

Duties:

- Programming setup and operation of CNC machines

- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications

- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency

- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and bore gauges

- Adjust machine settings as needed to ensure accuracy

- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve processes

Experience:

- Two-year degree in Machine Trades or equivalent experience

- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CNC Machinist

- Experience setting up irregular parts in CNC mills

- Highschool Diploma or GED

- Experience with CAM software is required

- Experience with Fanuc controls is preferred

- Familiarity with milling machines and power tools

- Ability to use hand tools effectively
