Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist with minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience in a job shop or high-mix, low-volume environment. The ideal candidate is capable of operating CNC vertical mills and lathes, performing in-process inspections, and making program or offset adjustments when necessary. Strong blueprint reading skills, attention to detail, and familiarity with ISO 9000 standards are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
•Load and unload parts from CNC mills and lathes.
•Read and interpret engineering blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
•Perform in-process and final part inspections using micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and other measuring equipment.
•Make minor adjustments to programs or offsets to ensure parts meet specifications.
•Track labor time and job status using ERP system.
•Follow ISO 9000 work instructions and maintain documentation requirements.
•Adhere to SPC (Statistical Process Control) practices and document control procedures.
•Communicate effectively with programmers, QC inspectors, and team leads to ensure workflow and quality.
•Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with 5S and safety standards.
Requirements:
•3–5 years of experience as a CNC machinist in a precision machining environment.
•Proficiency operating vertical CNC mills and lathes.
•Experience with QA inspection and quality documentation.
•Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
•Familiarity with ISO 9000 quality systems and SPC methods.
•Experience using ERP systems for labor tracking and work order management.
•High school diploma or GED required; trade school or machining certification preferred.
