CNC Machine Operator (2nd Shift)

At M&M Oil Tools, we take pride in precision, craftsmanship, and teamwork. We’re a growing, locally owned, Louisiana-based machine shop located in Breaux Bridge serving oilfield for over 80 years, with a commitment to quality and continuous improvement.

We’re looking for an experienced Mazak lathe machinist who thrives in a hands-on environment and wants to be part of a team that values skill, ownership, and pride in every part produced.

What You’ll Do

- Operate and set up Mazak lathes cutting larger body parts.

- Read and interpret and work instructions.

- Inspect parts using precision measuring tools to maintain tight tolerances.

- Collaborate with teammates to hit production goals while upholding quality standards.

- Keep machines, tooling, and the work area clean and efficient.

What We’re Looking For

- Experience: 2+ years operating Mazak CNC lathes (setup + production).

- Skills: Strong blueprint reading, measuring, and troubleshooting abilities.

- Mindset: Reliable, safety-minded, and driven to produce quality work.

- Team Player: Works well with others, supports continuous improvement, and takes ownership of results.

Job Type: Full-time

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
