Preferred Qualifications

•

Setup and operation of laser cutting of various metals

•

Ability to clean optics and perform standard maintenance

•

Help pull parts as needed while laser runs with ability to lift up to 50 pounds

•

Ability and experience setting priorities and meeting deadlines through automated systems

•

Ability to work independently, quickly and accurately in an environment with changing/fluctuating priorities

•

Must be very detail oriented and thorough with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

•

Action-oriented, customer service-oriented attitude, taking initiative to follow projects and jobs through the production process

•

Engaging personality capable of generating and growing meaningful relationships with coworkers and customers

•

Ability to perform math including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division of fractions as well as convert fractions to decimals or vice versa

•

Accurately completes inspection reports after inspecting and measuring the material

•

Must be able to use hand tools and vibrating hand tools as needed

Preferred Experience

•

1+ years' of actual laser operating experience.

•

Strong knowledge of laser cutting system or school trained

•

Setup laser cutting of various metal on Mitsubishi lasers

•

Experience reading blueprints required

•

Associates degree or equivalent, relevant experience preferred

•

2+ years' experience in a metal fabrication/manufacturing environment desirable

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
