CNC Laser Operator

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Laser Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience with CNC laser cutting and a strong mechanical background. This role involves operating laser cutting machines, ensuring quality output, and adhering to safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

- Operate CNC laser cutting machines with precision and efficiency.

- Perform CNC programming to set up and adjust machine parameters for optimal performance.

- Conduct quality inspections of finished products to ensure they meet specifications.

- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to execute production tasks accurately.

- Utilize hand tools and machinery, including press brake machines.

- Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organized work area.

- Assist in the assembly of components as needed, ensuring adherence to quality standards.

- Perform routine maintenance on machinery and report any issues promptly.

- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements

- Proven experience in CNC laser cutting or related manufacturing processes.

- Familiarity with forklift operation, plasma cutting, welding, and machining is preferred.

- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.

- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations during production tasks.

- Proficient in using calipers and other measuring tools for quality inspection.

- Ability to read blueprints and technical specifications accurately.

- Experience with quality inspection processes to ensure product integrity.

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high quality work.
