CNC Programmer Job Description
Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our dynamic team in a metal enclosure manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will analyze parts drawings, specifications and design data; write CNC programs of machine instructions manually or by using a computer. This role is crucial for ensuring the precision and efficiency of our production processes through effective programming and setup of CNC machinery.
Responsibilities
•Develop and optimize CNC programs using CAM programming software to ensure efficient machining operations.
•Read and interpret blueprints to understand Customer specifications and requirements for each project.
•Familiar with metal manufacturing equipment such as Shears, Punch Presses and Press Brakes as well as processes such as Welding, Hardware Insertion and Final Assembly to program production instructions for best, efficient manufacturing.
•Utilize measuring tools such as micrometers to verify dimensions and tolerances of parts.
•Collaborate with assembly line teams to assemble components as needed, ensuring quality standards are met.
•Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the manufacturing process, making necessary adjustments to programs or setups.
•Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Requirements
•Proven experience in a manufacturing facility with a focus on CNC programming and machining.
•Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding technical drawings.
•Familiarity with micrometers and other precision measuring instruments
•Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot effectively.
•Ability to work collaboratively while maintaining high-quality standards.
•Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

Pay: $20.00 - $23.75 per hour
