- Deliver on the Cloud FinOps product road map, focusing on process improvement, tooling implementation & enablement of people
- Define requirements, and coordinate with internal teams and vendors to establish demos, rate tooling per requirements, complete Proof of Concepts and production implementations
- Contribute to maintaining our overall data set under direction of the Principal FinOps Analyst
- Hands on configuration of tooling, including business mappings to meet complex regulatory financial reporting requirements while delivering data & value to application teams
- Drive IAM Onboarding of tools and manage access management workflows & exceptions
- Develop & document operational procedures and end user training material for tools to ensure scalability and support shift-left strategy
- Actively participate in product and architectural discussions to help product/project teams make the best choices for tool selection
- Regularly train and advise cloud engineers, app developers and practitioners in FinOps tooling
- Maintain and build upon Cloud FinOps knowledge database (Wiki) making content easy to consume, concise and practical in order to enable teams to manage their cloud spend.
- Actively engage with projects to automate key FinOps processes – such as existing Show Back/Charge Back process with internal systems (SAP)
- Provide input to FinOps requirements and standards to support achieving overall FinOps strategy
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills in both technical and non-technical contexts
- Deep passion for cloud technology and ability to articulate the cloud value proposition in both technical and financial aspects
- Familiarity with data modeling and the FOCUS Specification
- Skilled at building relationships at all levels internally, with vendors and within FinOps community
- Persistent, tenacious and ability to navigate challenging business situations constantly finding opportunities to drive value
- Proficient working understanding of AWS and Azure cloud computing platform
- Bachelor degree or relevant experience
- Certifications: FinOps Practitioner, PMP or similar experience
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams, familiarity with Atlassian Jira Cloud
- Familiar with SaaS tooling, APIs and IAM
- Advanced in AWS Cost Explorer, Azure Billing Console, Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with Microsoft Power BI, Atlassian Confluence
- Strong organizational skills, and the ability to facilitate stakeholder meetings and drive to decisions
- Ability to influence and enable stakeholders across multiple functional areas to drive change
- Must have a collaborative and participative management style
- Position is hybrid/remote, with ability to travel to Bay Area headquarters 1-2 times a month
