This is your foot in the door — literally. Our Commissioned Sales Development Program is a 2-year journey built for ambitious, relentless, early-career professionals who are ready to hustle, build connections, and grow into long-term sales leaders.
· Identify new business opportunities through cold outreach, networking, and fieldwork
· Make warm introductions to our estimating and operations teams — we close it, you don’t have to
· Ensure a smooth transition and follow up with clients to make sure they’re satisfied and that we’ve met their expectations
· Represent McCloskey Mechanical at trade shows and networking events
· Hit handoff and activity-based KPIs — effort is everything
· Follow up post-handoff to ensure smooth transitions and ongoing satisfaction
This role is about hustle, not polish. We’re looking for people who can open doors, ask the right questions, and keep pushing. You’ll learn how to position a premium mechanical contractor and build relationships that last.
Top performers in this role have two paths to choose from:
· If you fall in love with the sales side of the business, you can grow into the role of Business Development Representative.
· If you grow to love the client success portion of the job, you can join our Client Care team as a Client Care Specialist.
Both roles are full-time, salaried positions on our team.
· Commission (paid quarterly and based on the net profit of the work you hand off; structure attached)
· Evening and weekend work will be required to effectively meet client needs as necessary
· Business cards, branded apparel, and marketing support
