The Receiving Clerk is responsible for receiving all goods from raw material vendors and outside processing. This position also acts as the outside process clerk and maintains the MRO items. Also, assumes responsibility for general housekeeping duties and striving toward continuous improvement.
- Check material to specifications using MICs and calipers.
- Checks chemicals (in solid, liquid, or compressed gas form) received to assure presence of Material Safety Data Sheet.
- Attaches identification data onto article.
- Transport received material to proper location and stores them safely.
- Records factors causing material to be returned.
- Unloads and loads steel trucks.
- Enters information into Plex system.
- Safely moves and delivers material throughout the production process.
- Keep accurate inventory of received steel.
- Maintains good housekeeping practice in the warehouse.

- High school diploma or GED required.
- One to three months’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

- Computer literate (including printing and scanning).
- Ability to receive and maintain a Forklift license is required. ASPC will certify new team members.
