Cleaning Technician

Job Overview:

We are currently seeking a dedicated Cleaning Technician to join our team. As a Cleaning Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation within our facilities. This position offers a flexible schedule making it an ideal opportunity for retirees, college students, or stay-at-home parents.

Monday-Friday 8:45am to 1:30pm

Duties:

- Clean and sanitize designated facility areas including dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and restroom cleaning.

- Perform routine inspections and maintenance tasks, documenting activities as needed.

- Undertake heavy cleansing tasks and special projects as assigned.

- Report any deficiencies or repair needs to management promptly.

- Make minor adjustments and repairs when necessary.

- Stock and organize supply rooms to ensure adequate inventory levels.

- Collaborate effectively with other team members to maintain a clean environment.

- Adhere to all health and safety regulations to promote a safe working environment.

Experience:

- Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred.

- Ability to operate heavy equipment and machinery safely.

- Knowledge of various cleaning chemicals and supplies.

- Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).

- Strong integrity and work ethic.

- High school diploma or equivalent.
