Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various settings, including residential, commercial, and industrial environments. This role requires a strong work ethic and the ability to perform tasks efficiently while adhering to safety standards.
Responsibilities
•
Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
•
Conduct industrial cleaning operations to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
•
Maintain cleanliness in facilities through effective custodial practices.
•
Execute floor care procedures such as buffing and waxing to enhance the appearance of surfaces.
•
Assist with residential painting projects as needed to maintain aesthetic standards.
•
Provide porter services by ensuring common areas are clean and well-maintained.
•
Monitor cleaning supplies and report any shortages or needs for replenishment.
•
Follow established protocols for waste disposal and recycling.
Qualifications
•
Previous experience in commercial cleaning, custodial services, or facilities maintenance is preferred.
•
Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and equipment operation is a plus.
•
Familiarity with floor care methods including buffing and waxing is desirable.
•
Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
•
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various environments.
•
Good physical stamina; must be able to lift moderate weights and stand for extended periods.
•
Excellent time management skills to ensure timely completion of tasks.
