Class B Driver

The Class B Driver at Metalico is responsible for safely operating a straight or lugger truck (with a roll off or lugger box). In addition, the Driver is responsible for ensuring his or her vehicle follows the Company’s safety standards prior to operating the vehicle, ensures that all Company, state and federal regulations (DOT guidelines) are adhered to at all times while operating the vehicle. The driver’s position can be physically demanding (will be responsible for loading/unloading at client sites) and requires attention to detail and a strong commitment to safety. The driver’s responsibilities involve delivery and pick-up, reporting, operations service, safety and maintenance of equipment.

Our scrap operations source, buy, process, and sell four distinct groups of commodity metals for use in the manufacture of new products: +We recycle scrap steel and iron, which is sold primarily to domestic mills and foundries. +We recycle non-ferrous metals, principally aluminum, copper, lead, and nickel-based steel and high temperature alloys.
