Class A CDL Driver

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Class A CDL Driver to join our team. As a driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of material to our customers. Additional hours occasionally available assisting our warehouse team.

Requirements:

- High School Diploma or equivalent

- Strong mechanical aptitude for equipment maintenance tasks

- Provide appropriate CDL & endorsements for the position

- Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle

- Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions

- Pass a Patriot Metals Drug Test

- Pass a Patriot Metals Background & Motor vehicle check including Drug & Alcohol verification from previous employers

- Pass a DOT physical

- Ability to read, interpret & apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures

- Excellent teamwork and communication skills

Responsibilities:

- Operate 48' trailer with Conestoga

- Load securement-strapping all loads and tarping in wet weather

- Ensuring compliances with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines

- Detecting and elimination or minimizing safety hazards maintaining accurate records and logs

- Performs other duties assigned

- Perform delivery fulfillment duties accurately and in a timely manner

- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and maintain the equipment

Benefits:

- 40 Hours a week/ Occasional overtime
