Class 1 Truck Driver (Fly-In Fly-Out)

MATRIX is looking for an experienced casual

to join the team. This position is for remote camps across Canada.

- Ensures health and safety by following company policies & processes and acting in a responsible manner at all times, while on the job

- Performs all pre and post trip inspections to ensure effective operation of truck and equipment

- Loading, unloading, and fasten materials safety and securely to flat deck commercial trailers

- Performs roadside repairs as needed

- Complete all required safety paperwork

- General laborer duties as required

Requirements

- Minimum of 2 years commercial truck driving experience is required, including driving truck and flat deck combo loads and familiarity with manual transmissions

- Must have a valid and current Class 1 license , and clean drivers abstract

- Previous remote and off-highway driving experience, such as low-bedding is preferred

- Must be willing to travel for work

- Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedule

- Physical ability to lift and move a minimum of 50 lbs., Walk and stand for long periods of time and perform physical labor

- Valid Safety Tickets (First Aid/CPR, TDG, Fall Protection) are all desired.

Benefits

$500-$600/day depending on skills and experience, paid vacation.

All expenses covered when out of town.
