Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Class 1 Truck Driver to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting heavy equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role demands a strong commitment to safety, reliability, and professionalism to ensure timely and secure deliveries.

Responsibilities

- Operate lowbed trucks to transport heavy equipment to various locations

- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance

- Safely load and unload equipment using appropriate techniques and safety protocols

- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and incidents

- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding schedules and issues

- Perform basic automotive repairs to keep vehicles in optimal condition

- Adhere strictly to transportation regulations and company safety standards

Qualifications

- Valid Class 1 Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record

- Familiarity with heavy equipment operation and securing loads

- Knowledge of basic automotive repair is an asset

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices

- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team

- Safety certifications (e.g., CSTS, First Aid, H2S) are considered an asset

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $37.00-$44.00 per hour
