Job Summary:
Revolution Industrial is seeking a Civil Underground Estimator who is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for civil infrastructure and wet underground utility projects. This involves reviewing managing the bidding process, negotiating contract terms, determining labor and material costs, and managing the estimating process. They also assess project feasibility, analyze risks, and collaborate with various stakeholders including contractors and subcontractors.
Duties/Responsibilities (Essential Functions):
•Seek bid documents and maintain contact with prospective client representatives.
•Perform site visits to accurately determine work conditions and needs.
•Perform quantity takeoffs from electronic or hard-copy plans.
•Develop conceptual, budgetary and hard-bid estimates.
•Present and discuss estimates for final pricing decisions with upper management.
•Prepare estimates for new projects and change orders on existing contracts.
•Revise bids as requested by clients.
•Follow up on submitted proposals and assist during contract negotiations and award process.
•Quantify cost impact of ongoing project changes and assist in developing change orders.
•Analyze plans and specifications.
•Support construction operations and project management when warranted.
•Supports and follows all Safety policies, procedures, and practices

•Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at times.
Work Environment:
•Largely office environment with job walks consisting of heat, cold, and other outside weather conditions. Ability to wear PPE, and walk on uneven surfaces.
