At Acciona we’re building the future. You will be involved in some of the largest and most complex transportation infrastructure and heavy civil construction projects in North America. As a Civil Engineering Co-op, you will work with ACCIONA’s Infrastructure team, reporting directly to the Senior Engineer and work alongside our diverse team of professionals. You will be involved in a wide variety of activities, supporting our operations and will have the opportunity to learn, grow, and make an impact in your related field, applying what you’ve learned in school, gaining hands-on experience and insight into your future career.

In this role, you will gain hands-on experience, learning how to apply the skills and knowledge you’ve acquired through your education in a professional setting. You will be exposed to and participate in a variety of functions depending on the role you are assigned, such as:

- Technical/Design

- RFQ/RFP preparation

- Procurement

- Commercial

- Estimating & Quantity Takeoffs

- Scheduling & Planning

- Cost Control

- Quality, Health, Safety & Environment

- Construction Management

- Other

Required Skills And Competencies

- Currently enrolled in a civil engineering or related engineering program at an accredited college or university.

- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills

- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with others on teams.

- Willingness to learn

As a Co-op Student, you will receive a competitive and comprehensive compensation package designed to support your success and well-being throughout your placement. You will receive an annual base salary of CAD $55,500, 8% vacation pay based on 20 days' vacation entitlement and access to our Health and Wellness benefits.
