Position Overview:
We are looking for a (Senior) Civil Engineer to support the full lifecycle of our clients renewable energy projects, from design to close out. This role requires expertise in civil engineering and utility scale solar and battery storage. You’ll ensure design and execution meet owner-specific requirements.
Responsibilities:
•
Review design documents and develop a plan
•
Confirm all codes, standards, and project requirements are met
•
Ensure design accuracy and compliance with technical and regulatory standards
•
Identify and address issues that could impact cost or schedule
•
Support projects in active construction
•
Support projects in close out
•
Provide feedback and reports to the project team
Job Requirements:
•
3+ years of experience in civil engineering
•
2+ years directly on solar projects
•
Energy storage experience preferred
•
Strong knowledge of SWPPP and permitting process
•
Strong Geotechnical experience
•
Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
•
Strong problem-solving, time management, and attention to detail
•
Flexibility to travel to project sites / team meetings monthly (approximately 20%)
Education/Certifications:
•
Civil engineer
•
U.S. Professional Engineer license or EIT
•
Licensed surveyor (preferred)
