A DAY IN THE LIFE:
•Attend meetings with design/build professionals to understand project requirements
•Research and collect site-specific information to initiate the land development process
•Design and draft land development concept plans for light industrial, commercial, and multifamily residential projects
•Produce color renderings of land plans
•Perform site investigative due diligence
•Prepare schematic site plans, grading, and utility plans to illustrate developability and constraints
•Perform storm water detention analysis, site utility design, and earthwork analysis to inform site planning for cost and constructability
•Review project design drawings to assist project management team
•Collaborate with contracting team to value engineer sites
•Assist with civil/site training and mentorship for associates
•Meet with customers to review concept plans, discuss approaches, and define project direction with design/build contracting team
NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS:
•Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or other Engineering or Design discipline
•5-15+ years of engineering/land planning experience
•AutoCAD and Civil 3D experience
•Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus but not required. ARCO supports the pursuit of licensure
•Proficiency in Microsoft Project and Excel
