We are seeking a motivated and skilled Mid-Level Civil Engineer to join our team, focusing on stormwater management and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will assist in the execution of local and municipal projects aimed at improving community resilience and environmental sustainability. This role requires a strong understanding of civil engineering principles, project management skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders. The mid-level civil engineer position may involve physical demands such as conducting site assessments that require walking over uneven terrain, standing, bending, kneeling, or crouching for extended periods. Candidates should be able to lift and carry equipment or materials (typically up to 50 pounds) and operate surveying equipment, which necessitates manual dexterity.

The position includes a combination of office and fieldwork. Candidates will work outdoors in various weather conditions and may need to travel to different project sites. Prolonged periods of sitting will be necessary while using computers to prepare reports and collaborate with team members. Adherence to safety protocols and wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) is essential.
Language & Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for this role. The candidate must be able to clearly articulate technical concepts related to stormwater and infrastructure to non-technical stakeholders, prepare detailed reports, and effectively collaborate with team members and clients. Proficiency in the English language is required, and additional language skills may be beneficial.
Other Skills: Instructions: In addition to proficiency in engineering software and Microsoft Office, familiarity with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and data analysis tools (e.g., MATLAB) is advantageous. Knowledge of programming or scripting languages (e.g., Python, R) for data analysis or automation tasks can also be beneficial.
